Leave WHMCS without breaking billing.
Your clients, services, and active subscriptions state come across exactly; your history comes across read-only; and nothing goes live until you approve the report. The data import takes minutes — most providers finish the full cut-over, including branding and updating links on their own site, in an afternoon.
See what you stop paying
Drag to your client count. Real list pricing on both platforms — and the headroom each plan actually buys you
Price is only half the comparison. Everyone's pricing steps up as you grow — HostCore just steps rarely, in tiers built with headroom, and never meters you per client. WHMCS re-prices at every license cap and meters its Cloud plans.

What moves, and how
Three buckets, decided before anything runs. You see the count for every one of them in the pre-flight report, and nothing goes live until you approve it.

Things to know before you start
- 01Supported WHMCS versions: 7.0 through 9.x.
- 02HostCore works from a database backup you export, never your live WHMCS database. Your install keeps running, untouched, until you turn it off.
- 03Stored payment methods aren’t migrated on self-serve plans. Older WHMCS installs can hold raw card data and HostCore never touches it. Customers add a card once, on their next HostCore invoice. Business and Enterprise customers can have payment methods migrated as part of our white-glove migration — see below.
Two reports, two approvals
A pre-flight report before anything runs, and a final report after it does — with your approval required at both. Every line is linked to the records it covers, so you can check the counts yourself rather than take our word for it. If the result isn’t what you expected, one click rolls it back and nothing changes.
Read the migration guideFive steps, two of them yours
You approve the plan before it runs and the result before it goes live.
- 01
Export
Take a database backup from WHMCS and upload it. HostCore never connects to your live database.
- 02
Pre-flight
HostCore loads the backup into a sandbox and produces a count of every record it can migrate
- 03
Approve the plan
You review the pre-flight counts and approve or decline. Nothing runs until you approve.
- 04
Migrate
The import runs — minutes, under an hour for large installs — and produces a final report of exactly what moved and what didn't.
- 05
Go live or roll back
Approve the result and the data appears in your store, or roll it back and nothing changes. Then finish branding, templates, and links on your own site, and cut over when you're ready.
White-glove migration for Business and Enterprise
We run the migration with you. A HostCore engineer runs the import, works through the pre-flight report with you, carries your existing gateway tokens across, and stays on the call for cut-over. Raw card data is still never touched.
- ✓Engineer-run import and cut-over
- ✓Gateway tokens migrated
- ✓Included on Business and Enterprise

Questions before you move
The things every switcher asks — answered straight.
The data import itself takes minutes — under an hour for large installs. The full cut-over, including your branding, email templates, and updating links on your own site, is what most providers finish in an afternoon.
It comes across as read-only history — every invoice and payment record is preserved and searchable in HostCore, but frozen rather than re-billed. Nothing is recalculated or re-sent.
They don’t migrate on self-serve plans. Older WHMCS installs can hold raw card data, and we don’t touch it — raw card data never enters HostCore, migration included. Stored gateway tokens can’t be verified as working without charging them, so we don’t import those either. Your customers add a card once, on their next HostCore invoice. On Business and Enterprise, white-glove migration carries your existing gateway tokens across and verifies them against your gateway before go-live.
No. We work only from a database backup you export and upload. We never connect to your live install — it keeps running, untouched, until you decide to turn it off.
You approve the result before it goes live, and if you don’t like it there’s a one-click roll-back. Nothing appears in your store until you say so.
Yes. Your WHMCS install stays fully operational throughout, so you can run both in parallel while you check the data and finish your branding, then cut over when you’re ready.
You move onto a normal paid plan at the price shown on this page — no surprises. It’s locked from the day you join, and we’ll tell you well before anything changes.
Yes — your data is yours and it’s portable. No lock-in. We think you’ll stay because you want to, not because you’re stuck.
Move billing once. Never pay the growth tax again.
Import in minutes, approve what you see, and cut over when you’re ready.
